Ceilidh On!

Hoolie!

The famous Scottish Showtime is back for another year of fantastic Highland experiences! Join us for an evening of the very best that the wild Scottish Highlands has to offer, including: ceilidh dancing; local food; the best whisky in town; traditional music; historic Highland activities; and much, much more.

Scottish Showtime is the best way to experience authentic Highland culture at its most lively. Your action-packed evening will take place in the rustic and romantic surroundings of Bogbain Farm, an award-winning venue just outside the landmark city of Inverness. Sample whiskies at the 'barn bar', tuck in to local Highland fayre at our hay-bale tables, and dance the night away in the stunning converted barn.

The Scottish Showtime programme can be tailored to the needs of your group. From leisure and tourism parties to corporate gatherings and client entertainment, Scottish Showtime is the best way to experience the Highlands.

The Programme

Renowned Highland musicians

Our in-house band is led by Bruce MacGregor, a renowned Scottish musician and broadcaster.

Traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing

We'll walk you through all the steps, twirls, and stomps you need to master the simple but energetic art of traditional Scottish country dancing.

Local Highland food

Our award-winning catering team source all of their produce from the finest local Highland suppliers. We also offer the best hog-roast in the Highlands, for a more communal experience.

Scottish craft drinks

You'll also be slap-bang in the middle of Scotch whisky country, so a decent dram or two is a must! We can also arrange special whisky tasting sessions, as well as tastings featuring locally brewed craft beers, all led by experts in their field.

Historical re-enactments

The history of the Highlands is a rich tapestry of drama, battles, and love stories. Our expert local historians will transport you to a bygone era of clan chiefs and Gaelic culture with an highly interactive programme of re-enactments.

Bogbain Farm

Bogbain Farm is situated just outside the historic city of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands of Scotland. Set amongst the rolling hills that have lent themselves to many a traditional Highland song, Bogbain Farm is the perfect place to bring the rich and romantic culture and heritage of the Highlands to life.

The farm is an award-winning music and wedding venue, and is managed by traditional musician Bruce MacGregor, and seasoned events organiser & entrepreneur, Yvonne Murray.

We are happy to arrange transport to and from the city of Inverness.

Our tour group went to Bogbain last September and it was a fabulous evening.  They picked us up at the hotel in Inverness and we were met by some very friendly folk who shared a wee dram on our arrival.    We were treated to great music by very talented musicians and did the scotch nosing.  We then went into barn for a great meal, more wonderful entertainment and a little dancing.   Our group of 46 Canadians thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I plan to put Bogbain on future tours.
